Experiential Design

All of PropMill’s design work is experiential: the subjective experience of a space, a device, an interface or a spectacle is what creates memories we carry forward. By focussing on the users’ experience—and the client’s experience—we are able to create pieces that can convey the story of a place, the essence of a brand or the thrill of interaction in a way that that is both practical and measurable for our clients.

Our background in industrial and environmental graphic design gives PropMill a strong appreciation of the importance of both the functional and aesthetic components of every project, over a wide variety of physical and time scales.

Spaces and Places

PropMill specialises in delivering meticulously planned and beautifully executed, large scale, built environment artworks in both the public and commercial sphere. We transform the built environment into engaging and beautifully executed experiences by adding layering and depth to new and existing spaces. Thus driving engagement, attention and retention.

Exhibits

From Museums through to heritage sites, PropMill can provide unique and captivating design solutions for existing elements, new projects, and individual displays. In this information rich age of handheld devices, people need deeper, more integrated experiences, to keep their attention. We combine technology, design, and information to provide these opportunities.

Sales and Marketing

In a world rich with screens and constant advertising, catching people's attention and ensuring their retention of message now requires more effort. By seamlessly transforming marketing information and branding into a memorable experiences and talking points, PropMill can increase reach through word of mouth and social media.

Events and Festivals

Experiential design also lends itself to less permanent events. PropMill has a long history of designing, creating, and running spectacular events and festivals. Ranging from building sized interactive pieces, sculptural elements, reactive props, mechanical interactives, and stage media. We also work with external agencies to help bring their creative stories to life.
